Lach learnt to ski at Falls Creek from about age 5. He did his time in the Milo ski school, and started as a bit of a point the skis downhill and just go skier.

After half a dozen trips to Fall’s he added Zermatt, Mammoth, Whistler and Ischgl to his experiences. He preferred a very European style as he improved, with elegant parallel turns.
